A calm little escape in Bukit Tunku 🌿 Didn’t expect to find a garden-vibe cafe like this, but Fennel & Co surprised me in the best way. ✅ Halal-certified, peaceful, and the food actually lives up to the setting. No wonder the place was a crowd favourite. Here’s the bestsellers that I tried here: 🍝 Nyonya Tomyam Prawn Spaghetti - Lightly spicy creamy tomyam base spaghetti with big fresh prawns. 🍗 Buttermilk Oat-crumbed Fried Chicken - Buttermilk marinated chicken with crunchy oat barter. It came with creamy chili- lime, sweet & sour gochujang and spicy habanero dips. 🍞 French Toast- Soft brioche bread toast with sweet and slightly bitter sarawakian gula apong. 🍵 Matcha Blossom - Smooth strawberry cream matcha drink. 🥤 Sour Boi & Co - Very thick, refreshing drink that will wake you up! Injipuli Chicken Wings and Masala Chai Brulee? Yes! You might come here for the cocktails, but the food at Chinch seriously surprised me. Indian and Western flavours done in a cozy setting, perfect for family dinners or a girls day out. What I tried : 🍛 Mughal Chicken Biryani - This isn’t your usual biryani. Mughal-style with deeper spices and rich curry notes. The rice was fragrant, the flavour was bold, and the chicken portion was generous enough to share. Comes with raita and a thick, flavour-packed gravy. 🍗 Injipuli Chicken Wings (my favourite) - Crispy chicken wings and drummets, marinated in chicken 65 batter and coated in injipuli. Slightly sweet, tangy, and addictive. If you’re ordering one dish, make it this. 🌶️ Travancore Mutton Roast - Kerala-style dry roast with tender mutton cooked just right. Packed with spices and dried chillies. Definitely on the spicier side, but super memorable. 🍮 Masala Chai Brulee - That perfect caramelised crack with a strong masala chai flavour. Rich, and best shared over a hot drink. 🍹 Pomeberry Zest - A refreshing, sour blend of fresh pomegranate and strawberry. Great palate cleanser between dishes!
